Thank you for the help y'all are great! 12/8/07 - by Jared L. -Waterbed converted to an Airbed!!! We've had a king size waterbed for 20 years. I loved it, but my wife was getting tired of it. I did not want to go back to a regular mattress, so we went to the "Select Comfort Sleep Number Bed" store at the mall. After checking out the air beds, my chin hit the floor when the sales person said the bed we liked cost $2000!!! Talk about sticker shock! I got home and found SD Sales and Development LLC on the internet. Made a phone call and talked to Anne.  What a nice person.  She answered all my questions and assured me that their products are of the highest quality and with a warranty.  We purchased the California King Dual Waterbed Replacement Air Chambers and the Eclipse Air Pump.  For the set up, I got 1"x9" foam to line the sides of the waterbed frame and a foam strip to put between the two air chambers. The bottom line is we could not be happier.  We got our "Sleep Number" bed for $600 from Advanced Inc. No more tossing and turning, arms or legs that fall asleep, or morning aches. I've tried several different mattresses over the years, including those stupid air mattresses and water beds during their trends, but nothing ever came close to this. And to think it's only two inches thick. What convinced me to purchase it was shopping for a new mattress set and learning that those manufacturers now integrate a topper of their own. I could have paid over a thousand dollars for a new set, but instead spent a fraction of that amount on the element that provides all the comfort and put it on my old bed. Why would you want to buy a whole new mattress set nowadays when toppers like the Sensus are the best sleep solution money can buy? I even use one over a rock hard futon pad and sleep great. It's amazing and I'm just kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I'll be back sometime this year to get one for my parents. I tested it out on my own bed for a few nights before Christmas...needless to say, I had to do some last minute shopping for my parents. I knew I wanted talalay latex but I was realy unsure about the correct density to get. I decided to give this a try and it's been fantastic. I was really worried when I opend the box because the foam felt too soft, but sleeping on it was great. My new 4" 4lb. mattress topper has been wonderful for releiving pressure and pain associated with my Fibromyalgia. I fall asleep much faster because I get comfortable faster. We looked at 100's or so air bed companys and check on the what people said about them. Some companys did not even answer the phone. We looked at a survey about airbeds and it told alot about buying fluff. Your company was very helpful and had all we needed for a excellent price. We saved a few dollars on putting it together ourselves - this was a 30 to 40 min job, it might be shorter if we ordered it when it was warm. We had to let memory form set up to room temp. My wife and I had a double pillow top and it kept us up with back pain each night. Now with the Advanced Concept Air Bed no more back pain and no hard center support with great side rail support.It also takes reg queen size sheet set, this is a money saver. The memory foam pillows are heavey but you will not give them up once you sleep with one. This mattress (American Classic Plus 10.5" Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress) is the only surface I can sleep on that does not aggravate a nerve problem I have in my back. I have Fibromyalgia. Sleeping on your memory foam mattress is now the only mattress I can sleep on peacefully and comfortably without any pain. When I found this (American Classic Plus 10.5" Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress) on the internet, I though why not? Brookstone doesn't give you 30 days to decide if you like it or not. The bottom line is, we really like it. In hindsight I think the Tempurpedic would probably be to hard. This one is not. I would buy it again. I had some questions before I was able to purchase the mattress and she got back to me when she said she would and was extremely pleasent. I was ordering a mattress for a second home, in a state far away and needed to have it delivered within a very small window. She helped with this and made sure, even with the holidays and uncertain weather conditions, that our mattress was delivered on time and without incidence. It was a relief. I appreciate the attention to details.
